Monona, Ia. - Services for Henry Jarms, 70, were held Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran church, with the Rev. R.C. Schlueter officiating. Burial was in the city cemetery.
He was born on Jan. 6, 1877, the son of Henry and Magdalene Jarms, in St. Olaf, Ia. He was married to Hattie Engelhardt on Feb. 12, 1901. They farmed near Monona until 1933, when they moved to Monona.
Surviving are two sons, Harold of Monona, and Harvey, of Postville, Ia; one daughter, Mrs. Giles Blietz, of Garnavillo, Ia.; one brother, Ben, of Monona; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Vaelzke, of McGregor, Ia., and Mrs. Frend Schultz of Monona; and 12 grandchildren.
