Monona, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Henry J. Jarms, 66, who died at there home here Tuesday, were held Friday afternoon, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church. The Rev. R.C. Schlueter, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the city cemetery.
Mrs. Jarms, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Englehardt, was born on a farm near St. Olaf, Ia., on Aug. 19, 1878. She attended school near St. Olaf and Clayton Center.
On Feb. 12, 1901, she married Henry J. Jarms. The couple made their home on a farm south of Monona until 1934, when they retired to Monona.
Survivors are her husband, Henry J. Jarms; two sons, Harold, Monona and Harvey, Postville, Ia.; a daughter, Mrs. Giles Blietz, Garnavillo, Ia.; 12 grandchildren; five brothers, William Englehardt, Riceville, Ia., Rudolph Englehardt, Monona, Albert Englehardt, Farmersburg, Ia., Frank Englehardt, St. Olaf, and Arno Englehardt, Postville, Ia.; and a sister, Mrs. Ed Kurth, Farmersburg, Ia.
