Conger - Mrs. Ray (Mabel G.) Bohonek, 63, Conger, died at 11:15 a.m. Saturday en route to Naeve Hospital. Her death was attributed to a heart attack.
A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Axel Bergdale, she was born April 3, 1902, at Lake Mills. She had lived at Lake Mills until 1935 when they moved to Conger. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Women of the Church.
She was married to Ray Bohonek, Jan. 17, 1932, at Lake Mills. He survives her.
Other survivors are: three sons, Curtis, North Hollywood, Calif., Richard, Albert Lea and Milford, Conger; two daughters, Mrs. Alfred O. (Violet) Jensen, Albert Lea and Mrs. Ronald (Kathleen) Zielie, Minneapolis; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Four brothers: Carl, Kensett, Alfred, Hanlontown, Iowa, Gustav, Ellendale and Marlin, Gettysburg, Pa.; and four sisters, Mrs. Maurice Miller, and Norma Bergdale, both of Mason City, Mrs. Carl Moser, Pasadena, Calif. and Mrs. Frank Curtis, Riverside, Calif., also survive her.
A son, Raymond John, a sister, Clara and a brother, Arvid, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Conger. Interment will be at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in Monona, Iowa Cemetery. The Rev. William N. Leed will officiate.

Note: Mabel was the 2nd w/o Ray Bohonek. His first wife was Lillian. All three are buried in the Monona City cemetery.
