Butts, Henry died 1942

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the chapel at the Clayton county home near Elkader for Henry Butts, 72, who died Friday at the McGregor hospital.

Mr. Butts was a native of this country and formerly lived on a farm northeast of Garnavillo. Five years ago he went to the county home.

He fell and broke his hips several weeks ago and was taken to the McGregor hospital for treatment.

He leaves no immediate survivors.

Notes: Burial place is very likely the County cemetery. His only sibling, George Butts, and other family are buried at Elkader Eastside cemetery, but Henry does not appear on a burial listing for that cemetery.
