The funeral of Gustave Hahn occurred last Thursday. Mr. Hahn was a highly respected citizen and lived a good Christian life. He leaves a wife and a large family who will miss a kind husband and an indulgent parent. He was buried at the Catholic cemetery at McGregor, Rev. Carrol officiating.

Gustave Hahn died at his home in North McGregor, April 14th, 1891, of Bright's disease, aged 68 years.
Deceased was born in Wurtemburg, Germany, July 29th, 1822. He worked ten years at the byer's trade in Germany and came to Philadelphia in 1850 and followed his trade there for four years, also two years in Cincinnati, Ohio. He came to Iowa in 1856 and has been a resident of Clayton county for 35 years. In 1864 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary O'Connel; the fruits of their union are six sons.
