John Schummer died Sunday morning, Feb. 4, at the home of his nephew, John Funk, with whom he had resided the past twelve years. His death came from old age, which was 83 years, 1 month and 23 days. Deceased was a native of Germany and emigrated to this country in an early day. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Peter Junk, of this place, besides other relatives. The funeral was held Tuesday morning with services at St. Mary's church. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery.
