Ruth A. Jaster

ELKADER, Iowa -- Ruth A. Jaster, 64, of Route 2, Elkader, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 20, 1988, at Strawberry Point Lutheran Home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Roberson Funeral Chapel, Strawberry Point, where friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday and after 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in the Strawberry Point Cemetery.

Mrs. Jaster was born Sept. 8, 1924, at Osborne, daughter of Lawrence and Marie Meyers. She married Marvin Jaster Dec. 1, 1943; he survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Jerry of Volga and Gary of Newhall; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Darlene) Kelly of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lawrence Meyers of Elkader.
