Elkader- Services for Albert Anton Wach, 53, a farmer, of Littleport, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Church, Littleport. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. The body is at McTaggart Funeral Home, Elkader. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
A World War II disabled veteran, Wach died Friday at Veterans Army Hospital, Knoxville. He was born at Littleport, and spent most of his life in this area.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Anton Wach of Elkader; one sister, Mrs. Henry Hamlet, Elkader; five brothers, Raymond, Emil and Leo, of Waterloo, Norbert of Marquette, and Joseph, of Guttenberg.
