Cornelius, Fred died 1944

Riceville, Ia. - Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Fred Cornelius, 84, who died suddenly at the home of his brother Gus Cornelius. He was found dead in bed.

Fred Cornelius was born in Elkport, Iowa, the son of Frederick and Henrietta Cornelius. He and his brother have lived on the same farm for the past fifty years.

Surviving are his brother and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Riceville Funeral Home and burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery.
