We have just received the sad news of the death of Miss Alda Palmer, which occurred at Fayette on the 1st inst., in the 20th year of her age. Miss Alda formerly resided at this place, and had many friends and school mates, who will sincerely mourn her loss. She had a kind, loving disposition, was a bright scholar, and was loved by all who knew her. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Palmer will extend to them their heartfelt sympathy in this their sad bereavement. Her remains were brought to this place for interment beside her brother, who died about a year ago. The funeral occurred on the 3rd inst.
