Leon L. Moser, 51, of rural Osterdock, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003 near Osterdock.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Harold McMillin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. Pallbearers were Neil Morarend, Bump Moser, Bob Ferguson, Denny Fredlake, Bob Moser and Lonnie Moser.

Visitation was Friday at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Guttenberg.

Burial was in the Guttenberg City Cemetery.

Leon Larry Moser was born the son of Ira and Verda Mae (Noack) Moser on Aug. 15, 1952 in Guttenberg. He graduated from the Guttenberg High School in 1971, farmed and worked in local factories for many years. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Leon enjoyed gardening, hunting and playing drums.

Survivors include three sisters, Shirleen (Darrel) Fredlake of Guttenberg, Dianna (Kevin) Hale and Cindy (Neal) Meyer, both of Colesburg; three brothers, Lyle (Denise) Moser of Guttenberg, Garry (Fern) Moser of Garnavillo and Owen (Delene) Moser of Genoa, Wis.; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Verda Mae.
