Elkader Register, Thur., 12 Feb. 1920. Extracted from an article covering two deaths from flu.

Berta Maria Peterson, a daughter of Julius and Turi Peterson, was buried at the Norway church cemetery last Monday, Feb. 9th. She had had the "Flu" which had turned into pneumonia and died Feb. 7th. Miss Peterson was 36 years.

Only a few relatives and friends, together with the pastor, could attend the funeral of this dear lady, as the law of the state forbid gatherings in such cases.

A memorial service will be held as soon as this epidemic of sickness is over and a more complete obituary will be published in the REGISTER.

Note: Thru the middle of March no further obituary was found.
