Funeral services for Mrs. August Storbeck were held Friday, Nov. 27, 1964, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Richard Banzhaf officiating. Burial was in the East Side Cemetery. Pallbearers were Irvin Fehlhafer, Allan Engelhardt, Wm. Sadewasser, Harold Downey, Clyde Smith and Leroy Bandow.

Lovelva Wilke Storbeck, daughter of Louis and Dorothea Blume Wilke, was born at Garnavillo, June 2, 1887, and died Nov. 24, 1964.

She was confirmed by the Rev. F. W. Seifert at Clayton Center and received her education in the Garnavillo schools.

She was married to August Storbeck February 15, 1911. They farmed near Elkader for 40 years.

Mrs. Storbeck was a faithful member of the Peace United Church of Christ and a life long member of the Women's Fellowship to which she belonged when it was called first, "The Fraunverien," and later the Women's Guild.

Mrs. Storbeck could not have been considered to have been in good health for the last 5 years, but although confined mostly to her home for the last years, she was able to be up and about until the last ten days of her life. She delighted in her home and family, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Irene) Klink and Mrs. Clifton (Hilda) Moser, and a son Raymond, all of Elkader; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Cedonia Berse and Miss Edna Wilke, Elkader; two brothers, Louis Wilke, Elkader, and Walter Wilke, Monona.

Relatives and friends from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Duane Cahoy, Fredericksburg; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Felker, Des Moines; Mrs. Kermit Hildahl, Tripoli; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Eulberg, Garnavillo; Mrs. Hattie Fuelling and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schmidt, Farmersburg, and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Eggimann, Jefferson.
