Funeral services for Charlene Joan Harbaugh, 55, were held Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998, at St. John Lutheran Church, Guttenberg, with burial at the Guttenberg City Cemetery. Rev. Harold McMillin officiated. Pallbearers were: Brent Blanchard, Darren Borman, Kelly Borman, Vince Bradshaw, Delwin Harbaugh, Joel Moser, Lynn Moser and Jeff White.

She was born January 15, 1943, in the family home near Garnavillo, Iowa, daughter of Ray and Gladys (Wilhe) Moser. She received her education from the Guttenberg High School. She worked at the Dyersville Hospital, Ertl's Toy Company and was a homemaker for many years. She enjoyed walks in the woods, ginseng and mushroom hunting, flowers and antique auctions. On October 30, 1965, she was united in marriage with Curt Harbaugh at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She died Sunday, Nov. 1, 1998, at the St. Mary's Unit in Dyersville.

Survivors include her husband Curt; one daughter, Jamie (Jim) Burgin, Edgewood; two sisters, Yvonne (Butch) Borman and Elaine (William) Blanchard; one brother, Ronnie "Bump" (Chris) Moser, all of Guttenberg.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Larry Miller.

COLESBURG, Iowa - Charlene J. Harbaugh, 55, of Colesburg, died Nov. 1, 1998, at Mercy Health Center St. Mary's Unit, Dyersville.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church, Guttenberg, with the Rev. Harold McMillin officiating. Burial will be in the Guttenberg City Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg, and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

She was born on Jan. 15, 1943, near Garnavillo, daughter of the late Ray Moser and Gladys (Willie) Moser. She married Curt Harbaugh on Oct. 30, 1965, in the Little Brown Church, Nashua, Iowa.

Surviving are her husband, Curt Harbaugh; a daughter, Jamie (Jim) Burgin, of Edgewood, Iowa; two sisters, Elaine (William) Blanchard and Yvonne (Butch) Borman, both of Guttenberg; and a brother, Ronnie "Bump" (Chris) Moser, of Guttenberg.
