It is with regret that we announce the death of Mrs. Mary Conway, which occurred at the home of her husband in Lodomillo township, on the 1st inst., at the advanced age of 83 years.

Mrs. Conway was born in county Cork, Ireland, in 1800, and came to the United States in 1850, locating first in the state of New York, and afterwards in 1862, with her husband came to Clayton county, and located in Lodomillo township, where she died. The cause of her death was old age.

Deceased leaves an aged husband and two grown sons to mourn her loss. The funeral occurred on Saturday, at the Littleport Catholic church. Rev. Father Fogarty officiating. The funeral was largely attended by her friends and neighbors, attesting the great esteem in which she was held by all.

She is buried afar from the land of her birth.
Far away from kindred and friends of yore;
But now she will meet them in the land of the blest,
Where mothers and children part no more.
