Justus King, an old and one of the pioneer settlers of Sperry township, died on the 31st ult., at the residence of A. P. Freeman; aged 76 years. He located in Sperry township thirty years ago this winter. His wife died several years ago, and since that time he has lived with his son-in-law, near the old farm on which he first settled. He had always been a hard working man, honest in all his dealings, a good neighbor, and a kind husband and father, and was highly respected by all who knew him. His funeral occurred on the 2nd inst., Rev. Mr. Hicks, officiating, and the remains were buried in the cemetery near Volga City.
