Elkader Register, Fri., 6 May 1881. Elkport Locals column.

Miss Ella Baxter, aged 15 years, died on Monday night, of consumption. She was a young lady, highly respected for her many good qualities, and has many friends who mourn her early death. She was buried Wednesday, the funeral being largely attended. Mrs. Baxter, the bereaved mother, has the sympathy of all in her sad affliction.
