Mrs. E. D. Benson, whose death was noticed in your last issue, was born in Wagner township, in 1863, and was therefore 18 years of age at the time of her death. She was married to Mr. Benson, August 15th, 1880. She leaves her husband and an infant son to mourn her loss. They have the sincere sympathy of all in their sad affliction.

Note: Nettie Benson, 1883 - 8 Aug. 1881, in Hillcrest Cemetery. Her death is recorded in the Clayton County Death Records, Book I, page 15, entry #164 (see transcription on the Clayton co. IAGenWeb site). Cause of death was typhoid fever.
