Last Rites For Robt. P. Henry Held Monday At St. Mary's Church

Robert Patrick Henry, 88, who had made his home with a nephew, Marcus O'Brien in Cox Creek twp. for twenty years, passed away at the Davis Nursing Home here Saturday, following a long illness.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at St. Mary's Catholic church in Strawberry Point, the Rev. Stahill officiating. Those who bore the casket were Peter Quinn, Dewey Farmer, Tom Boland, Arthur Dittmer, George O'Brien and Paul Olinger. Interment was in the local Cemetery.

The son of Alexander and Anna Carr Henry, Robert was born Nov. 5, 1861 at Franklinville, N.Y. and spent most of his life in Clayton county. He was married in 1898 to Emelie Dohrer, who, with an infant son, died in 1900. He was married to Len Rachkeminer in 1909. She passed away in 1914.

Surviving Mr. Henry are two brothers, Will Henry of Strawberry Point and Peter Henry, Mount Pleasant, Mich.; a sister Mrs. Rose O'Brien of Cox Creek and a nephew, Marcus O'Brien. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, four brothers, Michael, Alex, John and Martin, four sisters, Mrs. Austin Thyne, Mrs. Dennis Malone, Mrs. Mike O'Brien and Mrs. Mike Dinan.
