Funeral services were held January 19 at two o'clock from St. John's United Church of Christ in Garber for Philip J. Beeh, 83, of Guttenberg, who died Monday from heart trouble. Rev. Robert Rahe conducted the services, and burial was in Mount Harmony Cemetery at Elkport with the following pallbearers: Kenneth Ruegnitz, William Refle, Terry Krieg and Howard Rentschler.

Mr. Beeh, the son of Christoph and Paulina Willie Beeh, was born January 23, 1888, at Elkport. On October 6, 1920, he married Susan Burkett at Tipton, Ind. Mr. Beeh farmed in the Garber area until 1950 and also was a practicing veterinarian from 1918 until 1940.

He is survived by Mrs. Beeh; one son, Philip Beeh of Elkport; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Mabel Rentschler of Guttenberg.
