Jonathan Schroeder, 25, of Guttenberg died Monday, Nov. 23, 1998 at the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City, from injuries received in an auto accident on Sept. 22.

Services were conducted by Rev. Harold McMillin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 27, at the St. John Lutheran Church, Guttenberg.

Visitation was at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.

Interment was in the Guttenberg City Cemetery with the following casket bearers: Brandi Burrow, Chad Heideman, Kirk Schroeder, Deric Sieck, Blaine Connelly, Justin Heideman, Cody Schroeder and Sean Wiedner. Honorary bearers were Dustin Lundt, Brody Mizell, Stone Schroeder, Brielle Mizell, Dane Schroeder, Brynn Vorwald, and Trae Wiedner.

Jonathan Jay Schroeder was born Saturday, June 30, 1973 in Guttenberg, a son of Ronald and Peggy (Wessel) Schroeder. He graduated from Guttenberg High School in 1992 and worked for A & C Construction.

Survivors include his parents, Ronald and Peggy of Guttenberg; two sisters, Trisha Mizell and Tonnie (Richard) Lundt of Guttenberg; one brother, Jeremy (Rhonda) Schroeder of Guttenberg; his daughter, Britani; grandmothers, Florine Wessel of West Union and LaVonne Schroeder of Elkport; and a special friend, Michelle.
