Brenda Sue Voshell, 33, of Waterloo, died Saturday, April 16, 1994 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, following surgical complications.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 20, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home with Pastor Harold McMillin conducting. Interment was in Guttenberg City Cemetery with the following pallbearers: Duane Hagen, Lyle Christen, Lloyd Vorwald, Scott Meyer, Harlan Borcherding and Richard Bush.

Brenda Sue was born Feb. 5, 1961, in Guttenberg, a daughter of Arvid and Elizabeth (Borcherding) Voshell. She was a resident of Hills and Dales Child Development Center and the Harmony House in Waterloo for many years.

Surviving are her mother and step-father, Paul and Elizabeth Schwendinger of Guttenberg; her father, Arvid Voshell of Pine Bush, N.Y.; two sisters, Wanda Martelle of Guttenberg and Jane (and John) Schwendinger of Hampton, Va.; a step-sister, Jada Harbaugh of Elkader; maternal grandparents, Roland and Marguerite Handke of Guttenberg, and one niece, Stacey.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Alvin Borcherding, and grandparents, Luther and Laura Voshell.
