Guttenberg-- Dolly H. Gassman, 77. Monday, 11 a.m., St. Mary's Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn's, where a scripture wake service will be held at 7:30 tonight. Burial: Guttenberg Cemetery.

Services for Mrs. Dolly H. Gassman, 77, of Guttenberg were held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church and were conducted by Monsignor Donald Sweeney.
Mrs. Gassman died at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital early Saturday morning after suffering an apparent heart attack at her home.
Visitation was at the Tuecke Funeral Home, where the scripture wake service was held Sunday evening.
Burial was in Guttenberg City Cemetery with the following pallbearers: Brian Saeugling, Duane and Paul Jelinek, Tom Hoffman, Dale Hamann and Dan Hoffman.
Mrs. Gassman was the daughter of Fred and Elma Claus Carrier and was born in Guttenberg on Sept. 27, 1904. She was married in Dubuque June 26, 1923 to Frederick Gassman, who died May 28, 1965.
Surviving are one son, Paul Gassman of Dubuque; seven daughters, Rosemary Radtke and Mrs. Greg (Vyondalene) Jelinek, both of Dubuque, Mrs. Donald (Ivy) Stoeffler of Postville, Mrs. Matt (Delores) Hoffman of Rockford, Ill., Mrs. Harlan (Annie) Hamann of Maynard, Mrs. Laverne (Shirley) Plagman of Elkader and Mrs. Keith (Yvonne) Saeugling of Guttenberg; 44 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one sister, Hallie Schaeffer of Dubuque and three brothers, Lester Carrier of Rockford, Ill., Lewis Carrier and Willis Carrier, both of Guttenberg.
