Cletus A. Summer, 72, of Guttenberg died Monday, Oct. 28, 1985 at Prairie Convalescent Center, Prairie du Chien, Wis.

Services were scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at St. Mary's Catholic Church and are to be conducted by Father Robert Reiss of North Buena Vista.

Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery with the following pallbearers: Donald Borman, Irish Degnan, Jerry Tujetsch, Steve McLane, Mike Kann and Ronald Kulper.

The wake service was held Tuesday evening at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home.

Mr. Summer was born May 8, 1913, a son of Ben and Ida (Mescher) Summer. He was married in Colesburg May 17, 1947 to Ivanelle Lake, who survives. Mr. Summer was a retired businessman.

Survivors besides his wife, Ivanelle, are four sons, Stuart, Stephen and Sidney, all of Guttenberg, and Stanley of DeWitt; a daughter, Sue of Mason City; three grandchildren; one brother, L. J. Summer of Merrill, Wis., and one sister, Mrs. Harlan (Lucille) Fukey of Hot Springs, Ark. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
