Mrs. Stanley (Bertha) White, 51, died Tuesday, June 19, at Riverview Care Center following a lingering illness.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial in Guttenberg City Cemetery. Father Albert Manternach conducted the services.
Pallbearers were Jim Bolsinger, Roger Bolsinger, Jack Billmeyer, Mark White, Steve Patzner and Vincent Meyer. The Tuecke-Allenstein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Bertha Doris White was born at Colesburg Nov. 13, 1921, the daughter of Frank and Nellie Billmeyer. She married Stanley Everett White at Waukon on Sept. 21, 1939.
Surviving are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Duane (Norma) Barnhart, Mrs. Henry (Sandra) Fassbinder, Jr., and Mrs. Michael (Linda) Felder, all of Guttenberg, and Mrs. Duane (Caroline) Willie, of Colesburg; five sons, Keith, Gary, Kenneth, Michael and Todd, all of Guttenberg; 14 grandchildren; one brother, Donald Billmeyer of Elkport; two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Fern) Herzog of Guttenberg and Mrs. William (Annie) Liek of Dubuque; five half-brothers, Harold Billmeyer of Olympia, Wash., and George, Alvin, Richard and Larry Billmeyer, all of Dubuque; and three half-sisters, Mrs. Richard (Jean) Moore and Mrs. John (Midge) Mihalakis, both of Dubuque, and Mrs. Merlin (Shirley) Hoisington of Greeley.
