On Thursday evening of last week, at 6:30 Alvin Clark of Wagner township died suddenly of heart failure. He had worked as usual all day, making no complaint and in the evening he undertook to assist his mother in driving some young stock into the barn but it seemed that the exertion was too much for him, the heart ceased to function and he died immediately.
Alvin Clark, the son of Seth and Anna Clark was born in Wagner township on Feb. 2, 1890, and grew to manhood on the farm. Five years prior to the date of his death he was united in marriage to Miss Helen Sandsgard* and about sixe weeks ago a son was born to this union who will be a source of much comfort to the grief stricken widow during the dark hours of sorrow, and we trust throughout her life.
Besides his parents, wife and son, the deceased is survived by one brother, Joel.
The funeral services were held Sunday, April 20, conducted by Rev. G.R. Hull, and music was rendered by the members of the congregational church choir. A large number of people comprising practically all of the friends and neighbors were in attendance to show the high regard in which Mr. Clark was held and also their sympathy for the grief stricken relatives.
Burial was made in the family cemetery on the farm.
