Jeffrey C. Kolker, 26, of Ankeny, formerly of Guttenberg, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1992 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Aug. 11.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Mark Urlaub of Vinton at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Guttenberg, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15.

Burial was in Guttenberg City Cemetery with the following casket bearers: Josh Andregg, James Klemp, Mark Patzner, Craig Funk, Frank Schoenauer Jr., and Jody Kolker. Honorary bearers were Brian Tangeman, Jim Tuecke, Mark Duwe, Eric Barnhart and Ron Moser. Visitation was Friday at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home.

Jeffrey Clark Kolker was born April 23, 1966 in Guttenberg, a son of James and Sandra (Knudtson) Kolker. He graduated from Guttenberg High School in 1984 and was a stained-glass craftsman in Des Moines. On Aug. 31, 1991 he was united in marriage to Jane Kopecky at St. John Lutheran Church, Guttenberg; she survives.

Surviving besides his wife are his parents, James and Sandra Kolker of Guttenberg; one brother, Jason of Guttenberg; grandparents, Eddie and Ruth Benstine and Elmer and Alverta Knudtson of Guttenberg, and father-in-law and mother-in law, Norman and Joyce Kopecky, also of Guttenberg.
