Roy R. Wolter, 74, of Guttenberg died at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 1984, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital.
Services were conducted by the Rev. L.C. Urlaub at St. Paul Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Sunday with burial in Guttenberg City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Fred Hauschild, Don Geuder, Arnold Lange, Edgar Pensel, Archie Tucker and Ira Moser.
Visitation was at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home.
Mr. Wolter was a son of Joseph Wolter and Frieda Radack Wolter and was born July 22, 1909 in Denver, Colo. He was married June 11, 1943 in Chicago to Genevieve Berry, who survives.
Mr. Wolter had been employed as a salesman and as a custodian at Guttenberg Community Schools before his retirement.
Surviving, besides his wife, Genevieve, are two sons, Paul Wolter of Artlinton, Texas, and Gary Wolter of West Bend, Wis.; one daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Joyce) Marovets of Monona; six grandchildren; and one half-sister, Mrs. Verna Himmel of Lombard, Ill.
