Services for Scott O'Neil Moser, 19, of Guttenberg, were held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Garnavillo. The services were conducted by Pastor L. C. Urlaub.
Mr. Moser died Tuesday evening as a result of a three-vehicle accident that evening in rural Postville.
Burial was in the Guttenberg City Cemetery with the following pallbearers: Terry Moser, Gene Bockenstedt, Rick Parker, Jeffrey Moser, Lee Pattison and Raymond Kuehl. The Tuecke-Allenstein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Moser was born September 27, 1955, in Hawaii. He was the son of Nathan G. and Shirley Glawe Moser. On April 5, 1975, he was married at Garnavillo to Karen Louise Cain, who survives. He was a 1973 graduate of Guttenberg Community School and had been employed by the Carlson Construction Co.
Surviving besides his wife are an infant son, Corey Scott; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Moser of rural Guttenberg; two brothers, Dennis, with the U.S. Air Force in Japan, and Jerry, at home; his paternal grandfather, Francis Moser of Osterdock; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Glawe of Garnavillo.
