MOULTON

Died in Elkader, June 20th, 1872, Mrs. Mary E. wife of Charles R. Moulton, aged 24 years.

It is always a painful duty to record the death of any of our citizens, and the present instance is no exception. Mrs. Mouton was not only a most amiable and esteemed lady but possessed of more than ordinary culture and attainments.

As a former correspondent of the Journal we learned to prize her as a gifted lady and now join with her mourning friends who sorrow for her early departure to that unknown bourn from whence none have ever returned. Mr. Mouton’s bereavement is serious and we sympathize with him.
