Died in Read Township, May 1st, 1872, of spinal fever, Ferdinand, son of Eugene B. and Emeline Munger, aged 1 year and 5 months.
A most interesting child was little Ferdinand, the joy and the pride of his sorrowing parents, and to lose him just when he was becoming interesting is a sever affliction that, that dreaded disease, and spinal fever, is an unrelenting messenger, and is indifferent to so many agonies it leaves behind. There is a consolation, however, that the little one has gone beyond the troubles of this world an enjoy a better life in the unknown realm from whose bourn no traveler returneth.
Farwell, Ferdie; we miss and mourn these; but it is God’s will and we submit.
