Farmersburg- Miss Hattie Spencer died at the home of her parents, in Wagner township, Thursday, July 13th, 1911, aged 20 years, 9 months and 24 days. She leaves to mourn her passing, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Spencer, and four sisters, Ruth, Edith, Aura and Gertrude, and two grandmothers, Mrs. E. Tait, of Giard, and Mrs. Dora Henkes, of Farmersburg, and other relatives. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon, at the Evangelical church, in Wagner, Rev. James B. Bird, of Monona, conducting the services. The family have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
The pallbearers were, Alma Engelhart, Esther Lenth, Grace Burnham, Dottie Sickel, Emma Aulrich and Caddie Burnham. Flower girls, Thelma Oelke and Marguerite Oelke. Burial in Wagner cemetery.
