Services for Mrs. Hugo Harberg, 67, were held Wednesday at 1:45 from the Schultz funeral chapel and from St. Paul's Lutheran church at 2 o'clock. The Rev. R. C. Schlueter officiated.
Mrs. Harberg, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rodwedder, was born March 1, 1889, near Garnavillo and died April 8, at the Postville hospital after several years illness. On Nov. 27, 1912, she was married to Hugo Harberg. The couple farmed for many years near Garnavillo and later near Farmersburg. They retired to Monona in 1952. Mr. Harberg died in 1955. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Mrs. William Duwe and Mrs. John Stade, and one brother, Herman Rodwedder.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Steve Parker of Monona, three sisters, Mrs. Henry Schafer, Emery, S. Dak.; Mrs. William Dettman and Miss Mabel Rodwedder of Monona, two brothers, Henry Rodwedder of Monona, and Louis Rodwedder of Guttenberg; two grandchildren, Edward and Mary Kay Parker of Monona.
Burial was in the Garnavillo cemetery.
