Miss Katherine Tenney was born at Georgetown, N.Y., June 10, 1835, and died at Volga City, Oct. 13th, 1909.

She was married to Salem Morse at West Union, Iowa, May 15th, 1859. He died Nov. 19th, 1903. To this union were born three children, Eva May, who died in 1872*, William Salem, who lives at Volga City, and Ernest L., who lives at Dubuque. Besides the children she leaves three sisters, Mrs. Clara Berkey and Mrs. Ann O'Connor, of West Union, and Mrs. Hannah Flugitt, of Princeton, Missouri.
