Darlene Marie Kelly, age 66, of Elkader, IA, died Monday, September 24, 2007, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN, of a long illness. Services were held on Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at the Roberson Funeral Chapel in Strawberry Point with burial in the Strawberry Point cemetery. Duane Hix officiated.

Darlene was born April 24, 1941, in rural Elkader, IA, to Marvin and Ruth Ann Sturm Jaster. She married Charles Kelly in 1958 in Elkader. They lived in Cedar Rapids from 1958 to 1999. She had worked as a teller in several banks in Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her husband; Charles; a daughter Rhonda (Larry) Rozinek of Marion, IA; a son, Mike (Lori) Kelly of Cedar Rapids, IA; six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Jaster of Elkader, IA, and Gary Jaster of Norway, IA.
