Ensign, Robert Fremont died 1871

Died in Volga City, Iowa, April 21st, 1871, Robert Fremont, aged 8 years, 8 mos. and 20 days, youngest son of R.M. & E. Ensign.

Fremont was the pet of the family, a lover of the Sabbath School, and beloved by all who knew him.

Clayton County Journal: April 26, 1871
Burial: Hillcrest Cemetery
Parents: Father died in 1905 and his Mother in 1914
