Clayton County Register, Wed., 14 Dec. 1938.

Monona: Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Schierholz, aged 82, who died Monday morning, were held at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon from the home and at 2:00 from the local Lutheran church with burial in the city cemetery.

Surviving here are two daughters, Mrs. Rosella Wirkler and Mrs. Pauline Miller, both of Monona and two sons, Henry Schierholz of Guttenberg and Elzer W. Schierholz of Postville besides a sister, Mrs. Pauline Kregel of Monona.
