Monona: Mrs. Kathryn Lestina, aged 83, died suddenly at Ionia in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Marovets, Wednesday evening and funeral services were held Saturday morning at nine o'clock from St. Patrick's Catholic church, the Rev. Father Luke Donlon officiating. He sang the mass of requiem and said prayers in the Bohemian cemetery where she was buried beside her husband, who died in 1928.

Surviving Mrs. Lestina are five daughters and one son: Mrs. Frances Papacek of Warwick, N.D., Mrs. Rose Klima of Monona, Mrs. Anna Klima of Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Kathryn Marovets of Ionia and Mrs. Mary Blietz of Prairie du Chien and Ben Lestina of Monona.

Mrs. Lestina was a devout Catholic, a good mother, kind neighbor and friend. With her good health it was her great delight to walk to town from the Klima home and visit her elderly women friends bringing much happiness to them in her visits. The sympathy of the community is extended the children.
