Clayton County Register, Thur., 28 Feb. 1929.

Marguerite Wald Brinkhous, a former resident of Mederville, passed away at the county home after a brief illness Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the age of 82 years, nine months and 19 days.

Mrs. Brinkhous was born in Bauden, Germany, on May 3, 1846. She was united in marriage to John Brinkhous in 1873.

Her husband died eleven years ago, Nov. 21, 1918.

Deceased is survived by one niece, Anna Miner, of Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 21, at the county home and in the Evangelical church with Rev. C. H. Franke officiating. Interment was made in the Mederville cemetery.
