Ethel May Niles was born in Coatsburg, Illinois, June 6, 1880, and died at the home of her mother, Mrs. David Lighty, in Edgewood, Iowa, September 16th, 1915, aged 34 years, 3 months and 10 days.
She was married to Mr. C.A. Niles ten years ago who, with her mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. David Lighty, two brothers, W.E. McGuire of Elkport, Iowa, and C.O. McGuire of Iowa Falls, Iowa, and two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Potter of Iowa City, Iowa, and Mrs. Elsie Colliten of Spokane, Washington, are left to mourn her death.
The deceased had been in poor health at the home of her mother for the past six months and everything possible was done to stay the disease, dropsy, which caused her death. She died trusting in the Lord.
The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, Rev. C.H. True officiating, and burial made at Asbury cemetery. Sincere sympathy of all friends and acquaintances of the family is extended at this time.
