St. Olaf- Verdine F. Glawe, 66, died Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, in Memorial Hospital, Prairie du Chien, Wis., following a brief illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, St. John Lutheran Church, Farmersburg, by the Rev. Bruce Hanson. Burial with military rites: Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery, Farmersburg. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Leonard Funeral Home, Elkader, and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene; four sons, Doug, Brian and Bruce, all of Farmersburg, and Mark of Garber; a brother, Burnelle of St. Olaf; four sisters, Gladys Coobs, Vera Palas and Betty Leuchtenmacher, all of Elkader, and Bonnie Jeffery of Arlington, Texas.
