Millville- Elmo M. Behrend, 83, of rural Millville, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, in Central Community Hospital, Elkader, after a short illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg, by the Rev. Harold McMillin. Burial: Friedlein Cemetery, near Millville. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.

Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Benson of Prairie du Chien, Wis., and Beverly Hamann of Garnavillo; a son, Martin of Guttenberg; and his brother, Francis of Colesburg.
