Note: The gravestone of the "Burnham Sisters" (Luella, Caddie and Grace) and Green Swartz (all on one stone), in Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery, shows Caddy spelled Caddie. The exact family relationship of Green Swartz to the Burnham sisters, if any, is not known, but he is noted in numerous articles in this newspaper thru the years as a constant companion to them, at social events, visiting the sisters relatives locally and as far away as South Dakota.
