Farmersburg- Green Swartz, 94, formerly of Farmersburg, died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital, Prairie du Chien, Wis.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Schultz Funeral Home in Monona, Iowa, where friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery.

Surviving are nephews.

Note: His Gravestone is shared with Caddie, Luella and Grace Burnham, the "Burnham Sisters". He is noted in numerous articles in the Clayton County Register over the years as a constant companion to the sisters at social events and traveling with them to visit their relatives locally and as far away as South Dakota. The exact relationship between Mr. Swartz and the sisters, if any, is unknown at this time.
