Clayton County Register, Thur., 3 Jan. 1929.

Funeral services were held December 28th, 1928 for Alfred Gisleson at the home, in the Marion church and interment was made in the Marion cemetery, with Rev. T. W. Tysdal officiating.

Alfred Gehard Gisleson was born August 7th, 1899, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Halver H. Gisleson and met his death in an automobile accident at 5:15 p.m. last Christmas Day.

He made his home on the I. H. Skarshoug farm north of Gunder for the past eight years, where he has been in partnership with his next youngest brother. March 28, 1925 he was united in marriage with Miss Elvina Jensen and to this union one daughter, Yvonne Alfreda, was born. His wife and child, the parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Gisleson, together with four brothers, Henry, George, Millard and Clifford remain to mourn his passing. His grandmother, Mary Odegaard also survives.
