Maquoketa, Ia., - Special: Burial services Mrs. Mary Miller, 71, were held in Mt. Olivet Cemetery following funeral services conducted at St. Mary’s Church by the Rev. J. A. Dupont, pastor.
Mrs. Miller was born in this community on Dec. 8, 1866, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Kleiter. On Feb. 20, 1889, she was married to John Miller, who preceded her in death in 1920.
She leaves four sons: Henry of Fredonia, Wis., Leo of Strawberry Point, Alphonse of Jefferson Township, and Edward of Garnavillo; five daughters: Mrs. Clara Pfiffner of Lansing, Mrs. Ella Schleuter of Strawberry Point, Mrs. Anna Kann and Mrs. Gertrude Petsche, both of Jefferson Township, and Frances of Guttenberg; 35 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

GUTTENBERG: Mrs. Mary Miller of this city died at her home last Saturday evening at the age of 71 years. She is survived by five daughters and four sons: Mrs. Ella Schleuter, Mrs. Anna Kann, Mrs. Clara Phiffner, Mrs. Gertrude Petsche and Miss Francis Miller; Leo, Alphonso, Henry and Edward.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church on Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock, and the Rev. J. A. Dupont officiated. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
