Clayton County Register, Thur., 4 Apr. 1935.
Robert Ernest Fuelling, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Fuelling, was born Sept. 23, 1934. He was made a child of God on October 21st by the Sacrament of Holy Baptism. His pilgrimage was short; his days were few; the darkness of sickness and ill health filled much of his life, offset only by the blessing of a Saviour and the kind and loving care of a father and mother, brothers and a sister, who did all they could and served in every way possible with a hope against hope. On Thursday afternoon at about 2:00 o'clock he quietly passed away, while his parents were attending the funeral of their uncle who had made his home with them. His death was caused by his general condition, together with bronchial pneumonia.
He lacked one day of being six months old. He leaves to mourn him; his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Fuelling; and his brothers and a sister, Carle, Evelyn, LeRoy and Allison; his grandmother, Mrs. Ernest Fuelling; many relatives and friends.
Baptismal grace possessing, and every other blessing that Jesus can bestow, they pass through death's dark portal, to life and joy immortal, and like the stars forever glow.
