Strawberry Point- Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Moser, 70, who died Wednesday at the home of her son, Fred, where she made her home, were held at the Methodist church here Saturday.

As Mary Jane Moyle, daughter of Edward and Jane Moyle, she was born March 29, 1875, near County Corners. On Dec. 13, 1894, she was married to Fred Moser, and they farmed for many years before retiring to Strawberry Point. Mr. Moser died Nov. 1, 1943.

She is survived by two sons, Fred, Strawberry Point, and Pvt. Howard Moser, with the army in Belgium; a daughter, Mrs. Albert Opperman, Strawberry Point; five grandchildren; three brothers, James Moyle, Mederville, Ia.,Alfred Moyle, McGregor, Ia., and Charles Moyle, Oelwein, Ia.; and a sister, Minnie Steele, Stanley, Ia. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three sons and a daughter.
