Strawberry Point- Funeral services for Elmer Ohl, 64, who died at his home here Thursday, were held here Saturday.

A son of George and Ida May Ohl, he was born in Sedalia, Mo., on April 2, 1881, and on Oct 20, 1901, was married to Florence Fowlkes, at Independence, Ia. They lived at Jesup, Maynard, and Sumner, Ia., before coming to Strawberry Point 10 years ago.

He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Al Schmelzer and Mrs. Alfred Leyh, both of Sumner, Mrs. Lance Scully, Strawberry Point, and Nira, at home; three sons, Clarence, Strawberry Point, Richard, Sumner, and Edward, in service in Holland; four brothers, Charles, Jesup, Ia., Bert and Henry, both of Oelwein, Ia., and Wilbur, Fairbank, Ia.; one sister, Mrs. Earl Harkin, Jesup; and eight grandchildren.
