MRS. ANNIE LIQUIN

Decorah, Ia., - Special: Funeral services for Mrs. Annie C. Liquin, 79, were held Wednesday afternoon from the Big Canoe Lutheran Church. The Rev. T. O. Tolo officiated. Burial was in the nearby cemetery.

Mrs. Liquin, long resident of Pleasant Township, died at the family home there April 1. She had been in failing health for the past six years.

As Annie C. Liquin, she was born in Pleasant Township on June 23, 1857, a daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Knudt K. Liquin. Her entire life was spent on the farm where she was born. She married Hans T. Liquin in 1886. He was born in Norway in 1860 and came to America in 1882. After their marriage they rented the farm of Mrs. Liquin’s parents.

They were the parents of four children, three of whom survive. They are Oscar, Fritholf, and Lillie all at home. Her husband died July 10, 1933.
